    I agree with the return policy of lowes. Walmart is now tighter, Homedepot, Conns, Sears Hometown, Tractor supply etc are all getting tighter. This is due to many customers purchase the items and play with for a week or two then return. Make the purchase with conviction of keeping. Those stores are not rent a center. Also, the craftsman tools are not the same as Sears or Ace True value.

  6. There must be some disconnect with the training of store personnel between the various stores. I’m reading bad reviews with returns from people below… I can tell you that the Lowe’s at Indian Land SC is the BEST hardware store bar NONE that I’ve ever dealt with as far as returns go. EVERY thing I’ve returned/exchanged was handled at the counter – with or WITHOUT a receipt! I’ve seen people come in with TWIGS that used to be plants and get refunds, no questions asked. I feel blessed with my store, and wish you all had the same experience(s) with yours.
