GoPro Return Policy

The GoPro is a super fun and versatile mobile camera that can be attached to all sorts of things; your bike, your drone, even your dog.

In an ideal world, you would make your purchase and get your GoPro in a matter of days – fully functional and ready to record all the fun and excitement in your life at the press of a button.

Unfortunately, sometimes things don’t work out how we hoped. Things come in defective from the manufacturer, or damaged during the shipping process.

So, if this should happen, does GoPro allow returns? Do they give refunds?

What is the GoPro return policy?

GoPro has a customer first approach to business. If you’re not satisfied for any reason, you have 30 days after the delivery of your purchase to issue a return request.

If this just isn’t working out for whatever reason, you will need to fill out a GoPro Return Authorization Request form. From there, the sales representative will walk you through the rest of the return process. This will also be listed later in this article.

A return cannot be conducted without first getting a return authorization number, or RMA. Any package returned to GoPro without first getting an RMA number will be returned to sender, in addition to a 10% restocking fee.

All returns must be dropped off within 14 days of receiving the RMA number.

GoPro will not accept returns of products that were not manufactured in the previous six months.

Along with the GoPro and GoPro Return Authorization Request Form, there are other requirements to be accepted for a return. Proper labeling, routing guide compliance, packaging compliance, and return authorization. Any return lacking these requirements will be charged a non-conformance fee.

GoPro will not accept returns with water damage, unless previously determined to qualify for a valid warranty claim.

The latest firmware must be installed, and all protective packaging must be included. Any products that are missing parts, such as SD cards and batteries, will be rejected and returned without credit.
