Return to store with a packing slip

In case of purchases made at academy.com, the packing slip works as your valid purchase receipt.

To get a packing slip, you can either contact the customer service for assistance or can get your packing slip using your order status at academy.com.

If you have a valid packing slip, Academy Return Policy states that Academy will credit the refund (less other academy.com charges unless you are eligible for their refund as well – see below for more information) in your account used while making the purchase through the original mode of payment or even exchange the merchandise.

Return to store without a packing slip

Refund Conditions

Academy attempts to keep prices low every day and cautiously monitors returns for abuse and frauds as well as reserves the right to limit any merchandise return or exchange, irrespective of your presentation of a packing slip or valid purchase receipt, as follows:

Returned merchandise must be resalable

The returned merchandise must be resalable except for cases such as product defect, valid product performance issue and in-transit product damage.

The returned merchandise must be in original packaging with all parts, paperwork and accessories.

Any return without a valid purchase receipt or packing slip requires a valid ID proof issued by the government.

3. Baseball and Softball Bats: You can return these items if you haven’t removed their original packaging. While in case you did, contact the manufacturer to try your luck.
4. Software: If you made a software purchase and have not removed its original packaging, you can return it to Academy for refund or exchange; however, if you have removed its packaging and found it defective, you need to contact the manufacturer for exchange only.
5. Gift Cards: you can return the product anytime
   
   Customers can’t redeem gift cards unless mentioned by the state law and Academy can’t replace any lost, stolen or altered gift cards.
